Add SMTP settings for each User

By default, the emails sent from your account come from theΒ shopVOX mail server.

This can occasionally cause issues with email deliverability to your customers.

To avoid this, we recommend that you add your SMTP settings from your own mail server.

These correct SMTP settings should be on any support or help section of your email provider's website.

How to Add your SMTP Settings

  1. Login to shopVOX

  2. Click on the Profile pic on the top right hand side and then clickΒ Settings

  3. Click on "Create SMTP Server Settings"

  4. Check the box "Enabled"

  5. Enter the SMTP Settings provided by your email account

  6. Click Save

  7. Click on the "Test Email Settings" button. Β 

  8. The next page will show a email form, send a test email toΒ a sampleΒ email addressΒ to ensure this works.

Gmail User Settings

SMTP Mail Server :Β smtp.gmail.com

SMTP Port:Β 587

Username : β€œyour gmail address”

Password: β€œemail password”

Authentication: select β€œPassword” from drop down

Enable TLS: Yes

Non Gmail User Settings

Check the support or help section of your email provider's website. Look for SMTP Settings.
