We were approached by Kevin Mantch to design a weathered military tribute wrap to his father. Months of planning went into the overall outcome for the wrap, a printed PMS colour was chosen for the design, a base coat primer, colour matched to the same green was laid down to make the internal sections of the car match the outside. Test wraps on removable vinyl were completed before the final print to ensure the weathered textures and paint cracks landed on the correct parts of the bodywork and created a seamless look. Parts of the design that fell on heavy curves were pre-stretched and distorted in photoshop so that when the vinyl was conformed to the panels on the final wrap, they came out straight. The car is a 1950 chev coupe burnout car.

This design was conceptualized by Connor Sherman (Graphic Designer) for our customer Tim Wolfe - who recently opened a new restaurant & pub in Ironton, OH called Patties & Pints. The design started from a picture of the actual Model T Ford vehicle inside the restaurant (nicknamed "Chuck") along with the Prohibition mural on the wall.
Our Art Director (Joe Peck) did a custom illustration and layout. They decided to go with the full color version which ended up being a 6 color, simulated process print onto a Heather Oatmeal Bella+Canvas triblend t-shirt.

This sign is a head-turner. Not only is it stunning and exciting to look at, but the process of building it was exciting and very involved. It may look simple, but the style and lighting elements proved to be challenging and new for our team and we couldn't be more proud!
The wings took a bit of engineering to figure out how we would attach them and how we would get the retainers off the end if the wings were welded to the body.
The blue panels down the side ended up needing to be broken into 6' sections due to the rippling of the polycarbonate. It was originally one 35' long piece before being sectioned.
During the week of install, it would not stop raining. Our 16' deep hole for the pier kept collapsing due to excess moisture in the ground. We had to set the pipe quickly and efficiently and in between storms.

RDR is a local country band. This shirt design is one of several that are available for purchase at all of their shows. About 10 hours for the design. Two weeks for production. The character in this design evolved from a sketch that was originally just for fun. It seems to epitomize the fan base for Red Dirt Revolution because it illustrates everything that makes live country music fun.
